The Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD), formerly called Housing and Land Use Regulatory Board (HLURB), has issued Department Order No. 2021-002, which allowed for the Suspension of Imposition of Penalty for Late Renewal of Registration of Real Estate Brokers and Salespersons for the Year 2021 until March 31, 2021.

This is in consideration of the continued enforcement of quarantine measures in the Philippines due to the pandemic. Real estate brokers and salespersons can process their renewal of registration for 2021 without penalties until March 31, 2021.
